Shah Rukh Khan The social media drought is over and its place is Shah Rukh Khan Blitz. We are not complaining as the latest SRK announcement is related to OTT, namely the launch of something called SRK+. Shah Rukh Khan posted today, referring to the title of his hit film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, “Kuch kuch hota hua hai, OTT ki Duniya Mein (OTT ki Duniya Mein Kuch Kuch Hota Hai). The level of excitement online is at maximum regardless. Fans are thrilled that Shah Rukh’s dominance will now extend to streaming as well. “King Khan will now rule OTT Pe Raj Karega (King Khan will now rule OTT),” read a thrilled comment on SRK’s post.

SRK received backup from his friend-turned-enemy-turned-friend-again Salman Khan who revealed that SRK+ is an app. Salman retweeted the actor’s post, adding: “Aaj ki party teri taraf se (the party is on you today). Congrats on your new OTT app, SRK+.”
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap revealed in a tweet that will be collaborating on SRK+ – “Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+,” Anurag Kashyap tweeted:

Shah Rukh Khan’s self-imposed social media hiatus began last year after his son Aryan was arrested in a drug bust; Aryan was released on bail about a month later. SRK has only recently returned to public life, sharing several advertisements he stars in among with other social media posts, one of which was the teaser for his new film Pathaan. Pathaan co-stars Deepika Padukone and releases in January 2023.
