After Loki season 2 was teased in the post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, MCU fanatics were excited to see what (and who) the new season would bring to the screens.

The response to the official Season 2 trailer for Loki, the first live-action Disney Plus series from Marvel to receive a second season renewal, shows that the choice was good.

Loki, the God of Mischief and the most well-known villain-turned-hero in the MCU passed away in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). But because of the multiverse and time travel theories, the studio was able to bring him back as “an unlikely influencer on historical events.”

When will Loki’s season 2 debut on Disney Plus?

Loki and his female counterpart Sylvie meeting the Kang variant called He Who Remains at his Citadel in season one caused the creation of the multiverse, and season 2 will explore the Sacred Timeline further.

Marvel officially announced the release of Loki season 2 in May 2023 during the mid-credits sequence of the season one conclusion.

Two years after the first season of Loki on Disney Plus concluded season 2 is scheduled to premiere. Phase Five of the MCU is set to begin on October 6, 2023, with its debut. The season will consist of six 40–50 minute episodes in the same order as the first.

Fans can watch the episodes every Friday from October 6 through November 10, 2023. The launch of the Hawkeye spin-off Echo on November 29 will happen immediately after the finale.

Who is joining the cast of ‘Loki’ in season 2?

The Loki season 2 trailer featured Loki and Morbius still in the TVA, confirming the return of Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief and Owen Wilson as his ally.

A few glimpses of Sylvie, last seen in The Citadel in season 1, were also visible. Thus, Sophia Di Martino will return to the role of Sylvie, albeit it is unknown what part she will play in advancing the story.
