SpiceJet’s SG-11 flight from Delhi to Dubai made an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan after a technical glitch. All passengers on board the plane are safe.
News agency ANI quoted a SpiceJet spokesperson as saying that due to a fault in the indicator light of SpiceJet’s SG-11, it was diverted towards Karachi. The plane made a safe landing in Karachi and the passengers were taken off safely.
The news agency PTI also quoted the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) as confirming the emergency landing in Karachi due to a fault in the indicator.
The spokesperson told ANI, “No emergency was declared and the aircraft made a normal landing. There was no earlier report of any malfunction in the aircraft. Breakfast has been provided to the passengers. An aircraft is being flown to Karachi which will carry the passengers.” will be taken to Dubai.”
