The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the notification for the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Examination 2023. A total of 905 vacancies will be filled through this examination. The online application process will start on July 1, 2023 and will end on July 31, 2023.

The following vacancies are available under the RPSC RAS 2023 recruitment:

Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS): 67
Rajasthan Police Service (RPS): 60
Rajasthan Accounts Service (RACs): 130

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the RPSC RAS 2023 examination, candidates must meet the following criteria:

They must be a citizen of India.
They must have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
They must have a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 35 years of age as of January 1, 2023.
They must have a good character and reputation.
They must be physically and mentally fit to undertake the duties of a RAS officer.

The online application process for the RPSC RAS 2023 examination will start on July 1, 2023 and will end on July 31, 2023. Candidates can apply through the official website of the RPSC at https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

The application fee for the RPSC RAS 2023 examination is as follows:

General Category: ₹500
SC/ST/OBC/PWD: ₹250

Examination Pattern

The RPSC RAS 2023 examination will consist of two stages:

Preliminary Examination
Main Examination

The Preliminary Examination will be a written examination consisting of two papers:

Paper I: General Studies
Paper II: Aptitude Test

The Main Examination will be a written examination consisting of six papers:

Paper I: General Studies
Paper II: History of India and Indian National Movement
Paper III: Indian Polity and Economy
Paper IV: Public Administration
Paper V: Law
Paper VI: Optional Subject

Selection Process

The candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination. The candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be called for a Personality Test. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test.
