Real Madrid presented its third kit this Friday, albeit at a forced pace. The whites had not planned to release it today, since it is a usual launch for the start of the Champions League, but the different authorities did not accept Real Madrid’s request to play with their second purple kit against Celta this Saturday at 10 p.m. 00:00 in Balaídos due to the resemblance between its tone and the light blue of the Olívicos.
Thus, Real Madrid has presented its third kit with black as the main colour. This returns to a third clothing and does so accompanied by a lime yellow that shines in all the details such as the logo and the three Adidas stripes, the shield and the Fly Emirates advertising.
According to the club, both this color and the pattern of stripes that runs the length and breadth of the shirt are inspired by the reform that is being carried out at the Santiago Bernabéu, recalling the modern metallic lines of the roof that is being installed in the Madrid temple.
The kit, moreover, has been made with recycled materials and uses the latest technology for perspiration.
This is also accompanied by a ball from the ‘Teamgeist’ line that Adidas has recovered. This ball is similar to the official one with which the World Cup in Germany was played in 2006 and to the lines with which Adidas dressed its clubs and national teams for several seasons at that time. As in previous years, it is to be hoped that the brand can continue launching products in this retro line, something that it did last season with Real Madrid itself, versioning the first kit of the Whites’ league victory in 06/07 in an agonizing last day against Mallorca.
