We use the video game FIFA 22 to simulate the 2022 UEFA Champions League final that pits Real Madrid against Liverpool.
The UEFA Champions League final on 28 May will put the finishing touch to an exciting season. Two old acquaintances will fight again to raise Oregon.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are preparing for the match in real life, but we have already seen what happens on the virtual pitch. FIFA 22 was the setting chosen to simulate the final. What can we expect?
This was our simulation of the final in FIFA 22
The match was held in the video game FIFA 22 in its PS5 version. The conditions chosen are as close as possible to reality:
- The latest update of the state of form.
- The official representation of the final.
- The ball is to be used in Paris.
- The authentic logos.
The only thing missing is the stadium. The Stade de France has no representation in the game.
After the match, Real Madrid beat Liverpool by a resounding 3-1. The first goal came from Kroos, Benzema, and Modric in midfield.
The Frenchman dragged the center-backs to leave only the Croatian, who put a ball filtered to Vinicius and then gave the death pass to Rodrygo, who finished unopposed.
The slight advantage at half-time was confirmed in the 54th of the second half. Benzema finds a split ball on the edge of Liverpool’s area. In seconds, he creates a wall with Modric to define a galactic.
It only separated him 10 minutes from the reaction of the English. A mistake by Militao leaves Thiago finished off in the heart of the area.
The epic of a final soared into the 85th minute. Real Madrid weaves a counter-attack between Asensio and Benzema. The former rode towards the rival goal until he shot towards Alisson’s left stick, but the rebound traveled to Benzema’s boot. A soft knock on an empty goal was enough to draw the final 3-1.
