WWE Hell in a Cell 2022: In the hours leading up to tonight’s WWE Hell in a Dungeon Pay-per-view (PPV) at the Allstate Arena outside of Chicago, Illinois, broke the word spoken Cody Rhodes suffered from infection.
During the training. WWE confirmed this after some time, stating that he was initially injured by Seth Rollins, his scheduled opponent on the show, during Monday Night Raw last week. Then, while lifting weights, he tore his pectoral muscles from the bone.
have a look:
Despite that, he made it through the match, most likely because he couldn’t make it any worse, and they had the main event to get through. “For the love of the game,” she tweeted shortly before going out and doing the damn thing.
Seth Rollins came into the match with yellow polka dots on his gear, a throwback to Dusty Rhodes’ time in WWE in the early ’90s, and an easy way to get to Cody.
The match was surprisingly good, considering the circumstances.
It was clear that Cody Rhodes was limited, but not as much as you think. He switched things up a bit while Seth Rollins did some more heavy lifting:
Cody Rhodes grabbed his Bullrobes, and they worked on it in the match, another fun answer that one would think would help him maintain consistency and require petite Cody Rhodes. After all, you don’t want him freaking out over his injury, do you?
I like the game.
Cody Rhodes hit a bloodline that blew the crowd away, but he only got two. A sledgehammer entered the scene, and it was pretty hard not to think Triple H’s sons were fighting each other, but then Rollins hit hard, and it looked like he was done, and that also only got two.
Seth Rollins hit a cross from Cody Rhodes, then Cody Rhodes directly saved one of his teammates. He then hit two more in a row, stopping the third only to grab a sledgehammer and hit him right in the house. He then set up Seth Rollins in the middle of the ring.
Despite all this, Rhodes wins again.
