for eg. one day picnic spot, 2-3 days , tracking or many more.
In this articles, i share with you one day picnic or hangout places in Mumbai.
“MUMBAI CITY OF DREAMS.” Lots of abroad peoples dream to live in that dreamy Mumbai or at- least hangout those famous or attractive places.
Here, are some places to know in Mumbai.
1. Gate Way of India
GATE WAY OF INDIA is as arch mounment build during the 20th century in Bombay, India. In this place, The Queen Mary and King George V. Visit to India in 1911.
The best time to visit in this place is between September to march i.e. after monsoon. Gate way of India is open 24 hours for public. And it is around 2.5 km from Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and 2.4 km from Churchgate railway station. There is no fees to view this place.
Taj hotel and the surrounding area is best to visit.
2. Taraporewala Acquarium
Taraporewala Acquarium is one of the attraction of Mumbai. It has 12 foot long and 180 degree acrylic glass Tunnel. In that, there are different fishes. The Acquarium is located in Marine drive.
Taraporewala Acquarium is open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm all days in week, entry fee is different for everyone; adults Rs. 40, students Rs.20, child Rs. 30 and foreign people Rs. 200
3. Marine Drive
Marine Drive is located at Marine drive station. You can enjoy with friends and family there.
Now, every Sunday at Marine drive lots of games and activities conducted with all are going at Marine on morning time. It was very fun and chilled out session.
4. Elephanta Caves
Elephanta Caves is also known as the island of Gharapuri. It is located in western India on elephanta island. It contains a collection of rock art.
In that place, you can travel by the boat via Gate way of India. Rs. 40 is entry fee to entering that place. It is a one day picnic spot to go with your family and friends.
5. Bandstand Fort
Bandstand is located at bandra station. You can travel by bus Rs5 either by the rikshaw Rs 20 per seat. There is no charges to visit that fort.
It is nice place to visit your friends, family and loved ones. Surrounding area was covered with the water it nice to see in the evening and early morning. There is garden near the fort. You can chilled with your friend there.
There are lot of place to visit in Mumbai, but I’ll share the view of them.
